A giant leap for private space exploration

Big news on the private space exploration front today…

That all sounds amazing, but then the guys in question replied with this…

So less than a month after the space shuttle retires we could see a private craft docking with the International Space Station, truly ushering in a new era of human space flight and potentially more importantly, saving NASA a bucket load of cash in the time it takes them to finish off the Orion capsule.

The guys at SpaceX are by far most advance of the private companies getting their respective bits of metal into actual space (not the pretend space Mr Branson is aiming for), completing a full text of their capsule last year.
