Previous readers to this blog might recognise the scene above. I’m once again sitting in a fairly standard cafe at an airport, ready to fly to Florida and join the #NASATweetup.
It’s a fairly standard cloudy day here in northern England, and the locals seem to think that a beer at 0818 in the morning is completely normal (I’m only just stomaching breakfast, full English of cause, at this time in the morning, let alone anything alcoholic).
Today’s going to be a very long day, lasting well into the early hours of GMT but very luckily including a look around the Dragon capsule SpaceX fired into space! Something well worth fighting the jet lag for.
Anyway catch you stateside, and this time I’ll actually see a launch!
